Things Are Bad in the UK…

…if you’re a US gunloon.

Gunloons have long held that the UK is just a Wild West-like atmosphere where ordinary citizens are gunned down everywhere.

Again, the facts keep getting in the way.

  1. You can’t make comments about gun crime as a whole, but only discuss England and Wales, leaving out the worst region of all: Scotland.

Also: not every newspaper agrees that gun cime is going dow, the telegraph claims it’s gone up by 4%, based on the very same study!

  4. I guess the statement in the Home Office report is confusing to you:

The number of police recorded offences involving firearms fell by thirteen per cent between 2005/06 and 2006/07.

  5. I supposed you missed the other statistic further down:

The Centre for Crime and Justice Studies at King’s College London recently conducted some deeper analysis of the available Home Office’s statistics.

It concluded that between 22,000 and 57,900 young people could have been victims of knife crime in 2004. However, it says without better official data it is impossible to know for sure - and that we need that data to improve the public debate.

    Doofus.

  6. Things are so great in the UK that they banned and confiscated all handguns and all semiauto and pump hunting rifles and shotguns.

Keep telling us how good it is in the UK, so US gunowners won’t have any doubts about what you intend to do here.
