Kevin Baker’s Bestest Candidate Evah!

Kevin Baker

No, not the sammwich. Though it certainly would be in the running.

We’re talking about gunloon Kevin Baker’s all-time favorite VP candidate and NRA covergirl, Sarah Palin.

Of course, Baker’s judgment often fails him badly. Well, it fails him almost always.

Let us review; in the nearly 5 days since Ms. Palin entered the national limelight, we’ve learned:

Palin has been embroiled in a TrooperGate–where she abused her powers as Governor to fire the state police chief and replaced him with a crony who was forced to resign two weeks later for sexual harrassment.

Palin and her husband, Todd, were members of lunatic fringe group –the Alaskan Independence Party–whose mission is to have Alaska secede from the US.

Palin promotes abstinence-only educational programs. That hasn’t worked out so well for daughter, Bristol. Here’s Prince Charming.

Palin was for the ‘Bridge to Nowhere’ before she was against it.

As Mayor of tiny Wasilla, AK, Palin wanted to find out how she could ban books.

As Mayor of tiny Wasilla, AK, she managed to leave office with the city $22M in debt. She came into office with a surplus.

The Pallins, co-owners of an Anchorage car wash, lost their business license for failing to pay the required state fees.

Promoted as a clean Government reformer, Palin was Ted Steven’s 527 director.

  1. I have heard that the $200 million of the bridge money went to Alaska but was never given back. I guess reform has its limits.

  2. So, are you coming to the third annual Gun Bloggers Rendezvous in Reno this year? We’d all love to meet you!

And how much are you willing to bet that “Palin will be off the ticket by the end of Sep.”? It’s Reno, after all. Gambling is legal there, and I’d like in on a little of that action.

  3. October, huh? Could be.

But I think my chances of making it to Reno (couldn’t you pick a better hotel?) are far less than Sarah P. staying on the ticket until 20 Sep.
