Guns and Self-Reliance
One of the original gunbloggers gives us all a lesson in self-reliance…and manly manliness.
He’s giving up his blog.
We need a break, Kim especially. He’s blogged every day for over seven years through the agony of gout and the depression of not being able to contribute to our financial requirements, never missing a day, never failing to respond to email questions about what gun to buy, or requests to help learn to shoot when he was barely able to drive to meet up at the range. It’s time for others to step up and allow Kim a chance to sit down.
Methinks most of what landed them is this predicament is the fact the manly KimDuT. sat too much.
Hmmmm. Let’s see. The manly Kim DuT. can’t work because of his gout. Yet, he can manage to hobble to the shootin’ range at every opportunity. His family’s in financial dire straits but he has plenty o’ guns. Oh, and despite the big time money woes, the family is taking a trip to Europe. We hear of problems meeting the mortgage, difficulties paying for health care, kids’ educational costs that aren’t being met.
But he’s still paying for guns, ammo, and range fees.
Ladies and gentlemen, the quintessential gunloon.
- Update:
“I don’t just want gun rights… I want individual liberty, a culture of self-reliance….I want the whole bloody thing.”
Gee, he might start slowly–with something simple. Like providing for his family.

Jadegold,
I wonder if you are brave enough to post your comments on Kim’s blog and stick around to hear his response.
I’m betting you aren’t, your past actions show that you like to snipe from the sidelines and hide often.

I’m pretty sure the manly Kim DuT. would delete my remarks, Bob S. It’s pretty much SOP on his and his wife’s blog; dissent isn’t well-tolerated.

What do you think his response would be, Bob? Is he going to hunt me down? Is he going to beat me up?
I think we both know the answer to that is ‘no.’
But why don’t you tell us why you’re defending this manly man?

Jadegold,
I’m not defending Kim, he is capable of doing that himself. What I am doing is calling you out for being a coward. You snipe from your own blog without letting the man have a chance to defend himself.
If you feel he’ll delete your comments, post a comment telling him to read what you said on your own blog.
Basically, I see this as a little boy talking smack when he knows nobody is around to make him back it up.
As far as what Kim may do, remember even the Supreme Court has confirmed the existence of “fighting words”, are you willing to back up your words uttered in the dark?
One of my favorite quotes:
An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life.

jadegold? what is that? in japanese culture the female organ is referred to as the ‘jade gate’. gold has no connotations.
jg- go over to kim’s, he won’t hurt more than your feelings.
otherwise you are just a harmless troll kiddy.
Comment by Robohobo — November 13, 2008 @ 11:40 pm
Actually, Robo, ‘jade’ has no significance in ‘japanese culture’. Other than being a semi-precious item of jewelry.
But, hey, all of the manly Kim DuT’s admirers have problems with facts. Such as the fact their hero, the manly Kim DuT, is something of a failure in most all his functions.

Jadegold,
I notice that you have a failure of your manly functions in your ability to say something to the person directly. I label that simply cowardice.
I’m not defending Kim at all, I’m commenting on the fact you are a gutless worm. You talk big here where there is little likelihood of Kim responding but are much of a coward to do it on his site where he can be sure to read what you say.
Comment by Bob S. — November 14, 2008 @ 7:12 pm
Why, Bob S? Why tell him when you seem so eager to do so for me?
Chuckle.
The manly Kim DuT. really gives meaning to the phrase “all hat, no cattle.”
