Surprisingly enough, it seems that the NRA is out of touch with its true constituency.
As I like to point out, I am a gun owner who believes that gun control is “pro-gun”. In fact, far more “pro-gun” than the gun loon/cretin point of view.
Now, the politicians need to wake up to the fact that a gun ban wouldn’t result in an armed revolt of gun owners. in fact, the most likely outcome of a war between the Feds and the extreme right is that the extreme right is crushed like bugs, even before the network news anchors can move their mobile newsdesks, satellite link-ups and tactical hairdryers out to the battlefield.
