NRA-associated Minuteman Group Members Charged in Murders

Another day, another NRA-inspired act of domestic terrorism.

Story:

According to authorities, Forde and her two accomplices, Jason Eugene Bush and Albert Robert Gaxiola, broke into the home of Raul Flores and his family in Arivaca AZ on May 30th, apparently in the commission of a robbery. The invaders reportedly shot all three members of the Flores family who were present at the time, killing the father and daughter and leaving the mother wounded.

The little girl was 8 years old.

BTW, this “minuteman” group had ties to the TeaBaggers.

Shooting at DC’s Holocaust Memorial Museum

Looks like a twofer for the NRA, today.

White Supremacist kills guard at DC’s Holocaust Museum.

An elderly gunman known to authorities as a white supremacist fatally shot a private security guard at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in downtown Washington today before being wounded by guards who returned fire, officials said.

Let’s see. Convicted felon. Able to get a gun, thanks to the NRA. White supremacist whose ‘literature’ was often sold at gun shows.

Why am I not surprised?

Guns, Fun, and Nazis

Dave Weigel of the Washington Independent visits a gunshow/machine gun shoot.

This is a place where vendors can sell T-shirts that read “The Fourth Reich: Obama-Biden 2012,” and “Hitler Gave Great Speeches Too..” and, most succinctly, “Fuck Obama.” It’s somewhere for people with hard-to-explain interests in World War II memorabilia can pick up items from Wehrmacht uniforms (”I’m putting the stuff together to make me a German officer,” says a man buying a Wehrmacht officer’s cap), Adolf Hitler mousepads (”Next time… no more Mr. Nice Guy”), and coffee mugs with Nazi commanders’ faces etched on them.

This leads to a certain skepticism of the media. Mark Stevens, whose Nazi merchandise is not moving very quickly on Saturday, declines to talk about it. “Any publicity from the media is bad publicity,” he explained.

An aberration? No. Go to most any gun show and Nazi literature and souvenirs are there.
